Firewalker Events
Security Ltd is rightly proud of the relationship it has with
its clients, and with the public. Below are just a few
reasons why the majority of our work is obtained directly from
word of mouth and recommendation:
Staffordshire County Show -
May 2008
"Your whole team is extremely
well trained and the kingpin to this successful operation for us
is your events manager, Mick. He has an outstanding
ability with regard to the way he operates and controls the team
and takes on board the numerous requests from our side."
Remembrance Day - 11 November 2007
"Hello Chris
Thanks for sorting out the weekend for us, the staff were
absolutely brilliant. The parking stewards did a great job
cramming cars into the tiniest spaces available and always
courteous. The stewards in blazers looked very smart and were
very kind but firm. The emotions of the day got to one when I
stood next to him during the last post he wiped a tear away, I
thought at the time if it got to him then the job was a good
one!
Can you pass on my sincere thanks to them all especially Neil
who as usual was a real gem. Speak to you soon
Kind regards"

Fireworks Spectacular -
Birmingham City Council - 4 November 2007
"Dear
Chris
I just
wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for all the hard work
you and your team had done to make the Fireworks Spectacular
event a success, and also for your support on Pantomime Horse
Race. Both events went very well, which is always a great
relief to the event organiser!
Yours Sincerely"

Events Officer
National Armed Forces Memorial
Dedication - October 2007
This event was
extremely sensitive in so many ways.
The Armed Forces Memorial
(AFM), near Lichfield in Staffordshire, is a
walled circle listing the names of about 16,000
service men and women who have lost their lives
in the last 60 years. It was created
because of a perceived feeling of a lack of
recognition of service personnel who had died
since the last World War and includes not just
those who died in battle but those killed in
training and on exercises.
One of those listed is the Queen's cousin Earl
Mountbatten, who was killed by an Irish
Republican Army (IRA) bomb in 1979.
The memorial was unveiled by The Queen and
Firewalker Events Security had the honoured task
of securing the venues visitor centre, VVIP &
VIP Car Park. A very emotional day for
many visitors and tact and diplomacy were high
on the agenda.

"Hello Chris
Thank you so much for yesterday to you and all your team and
special thanks to John Wilkinson, Victoria Ramsbottom & Gillian
Trueman who have all been so helpful, professional and
understanding."
Helen Overton
Visitor and Tourism Manager
National Memorial Arboretum
"Chris
Could we also thank you - your staff were amazingly helpful and
flexible. John and his team really saved the day up at Branston
as it was not clear who was who due to the postal strike. They
were incredibly pragmatic and sensible. John also stayed late
(and held his team up) the night before the event to ensure he
had all the correct information. Please pass on my thanks to
them all."

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
Gardeners Weekend 2007
"I am writing to say a big thank you to
all of your staff who worked last weekend in Kings Heath.
I have visited this show for the past three years and I always
get the same security man greeting me. His name is Phil
and he is always cheerful and helpful, and I need lots of help
at my age! He sorts out my wheelchair, makes sure I can
get around and when he is on a break, he picks up everything I
have purchased and puts it in my car for me. All the
security men and women were fantastic and I hope to see you all
again next year."
Mrs Patricia White
Wednesfield, West Midlands
"Dear Chris,
You may not remember me, but we did speak at Gardeners Weekend
this year after I lost all my shopping on the Saturday. I
went back to the park and spoke to one of your night security
men to see if he could help. He spent a lot of time
looking for me, but we couldn't find the little carrier bag I
had put down and I thought that would be the end of it.
Imagine my surprise when you called me the next day to say your
staff had spent all night looking and had eventually found the
presents I had bought for my children.
We are normally too quick to criticise, but behind the scenes, I
now know how committed your staff are and I thank you sincerely
for making my children happy!
See you all next year"

"Dear Mr Woodford
We are a small company who present a marquee of crafts at a
large number of events nationwide. Last week we were at
the Birmingham Gardeners weekend at Kings Heath Park. The
two personnel who took care of things during the day were
excellent, taking a great deal of pressure off John and I.
Starting with car parking down to petty thieves. I
understand that Joe public are not always easy to please, but
they were excellent both with our stall holders and the general
public."

I have been involved in Town Centre
Management in the Midlands now for almost a
decade, and in this business the reputation
of good, reliable companies usually precedes
them. During that time I have organized a
number of events, but by far the biggest is
undoubtedly our Christmas Extravaganza.
Last year we dramatically upped the event
into a new dimension for the lights
switch-on. Having used Firewalker
previously, I was extremely confident that
Chris would be able to cope with this in his
usual professional manner. In the
circumstances, his team was at the fore and
dealt with all of the problems as they
arose. I was particularly impressed by the
way in which they were anxious to meet
beforehand and after the event to ensure
that everything went smoothly.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in
recommending them for any job, no matter how
large, as I feel that they would handle it
perfectly and you would want them back year
after year.
Regards
