The list below is a very
small sample of what we have done in the last few months. On top of all the
'normal' events we have completed, Firewalker has also provided SIA
licensed response, ejection and search teams to Birmingham City
Football Club for every home fixture in the 2005/06 season, as
well as licensed ejection teams at Aston Villa FC.

Armistice Day and
Remembrance Sunday
11 November 2007
The striking new Armed Forces
Memorial (AFM) formed the focus of the Remembrance service
and attracted an amazing 6000 visitors on Remembrance
Sunday. The service also featured music from the West
Midlands Police Band and the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers
Band and a flypast by the RAF.
The sun came out at exactly the
right time to showcase one of the most stunning features of
the AFM – at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, a shaft
of sunlight fell across the sculpted wreath.

Birmingham Christmas
Lights Switch On
10 November 2007
Thousands of people turned up to watch
the Sugababes turn on the lights at Millennium Point in
Birmingham. Also appearing were McFly and Leona Lewis.
Firewalker provided a full complement
of safety stewards, licensed response teams and hospitality door
staff, as well as providing traffic management in the local
area.
- Bestival 2007 - On behalf
of Showsec International, Firewalker provided over 120 staff
to manage the campsite at this event.
- Birmingham Vaisakhi Celebrations -
A very successful event with
over 350 staff deployed over 98 roadblocks, two major
processions and a large park celebration.

The biggest
celebration of the World Cup outside Germany.

The 2007 Isle of Wight Festival
- A hugely successful 4 days on the Isle of Wight.
Firewalker was responsible for all security and stewarding
cover in the campsite.

T in the Park Festival
- Looking after 50,000 campers for 3 days is no
picnic, but Firewalker managed to deploy and manage staff to
ensure that those attending the campsite had a safe and enjoyable time
whilst in our care.
